Having to reconcile a love for science with an artistic and spiritual inclination, I have discovered alchemy as an ideal framework to investigate questions about the nature of the world. Understanding alchemy through a Jungian lens, substances and chemical reactions also carry metaphors in (psychological or metaphysical) correspondence with the human experience.

In this quest for knowledge I both create medicinal tinctures as well as engage in chemical nonsense that only aims at metaphorical qualities discovered in the process. I have also begun to attempt bridging biochemical knowledge systems with alchemical sign systems, creating alchemically reminiscent glyphs representing modern pharmacological concepts.
